Welcome to the Poringland Singers

Poringland Singers perform at Loddon Holy Trinity church in July 2024.

We are an exciting and dynamic mixed-voice choir, established for 40 years, based in the village of Poringland to the South of Norwich.

Singing a wide range of music, from popular classics and sacred music to contemporary songs and favourites from stage and screen, we perform concerts in venues throughout East Anglia.

We also support charitable causes, such as the East Anglian Children’s Hospices (EACH) based in the neighbouring village of Framingham Earl.

Our rehearsals take place on Tuesday evenings at Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church in Poringland.

Come sing with us

We are a friendly four-part choir seeking new members. We warmly invite you to join us for a rehearsal to see if you’d like to become part of our group. Our choir is open to singers of all skill levels, and there is no audition required. While the ability to read music is a plus, it is not essential, as we provide audio recordings and voice parts for all our pieces. We hope to see you soon!

The choir performs a wide range of classical and modern pieces, led by our Musical Director, Terry Cunnane. We put in a lot of effort during rehearsals, but we also enjoy ourselves – come and see for yourself! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us today.
